Directions: you are almost done writing your research paper. How is your research going? Where are the gaps, if you have any? What would you still like to know? Respond in 200 words or less. We're almost there!!!
My research is going well for the most part, or at least it was up until Phase Three. My research paper is about sexual abuse and its effects, therefore it has been quite difficult to find anything proving against it. Luckily, I did find a website that strangely believes that victims can benefit from being sexual abuse victims because if they are able to surpass it they can be greater individuals with some abilities that other individuals may not obtain otherwise. I would still like to know how to better create conclusions. This is something I struggled with since high school and don't feel like my conclusions captivate the audience.
My research is going well! I was surprised to find so many good sources. I don't believe I have any gaps in my research. I would still like to know how to make the wording and sentences in my paper flow better and sound more academic.
My research is going well. There are plenty of sources on my topic and have found it very useful to use interview, speeches, and podcasts. I enjoyed the process of finding video sources rather than journal sources. I think that has to do with the type of learner I am though, I never enjoyed reading and have always liked tv and movies. I have learned how to find and use several different types of sources.
I was actually shocked that I was able to find all 14 sources for this phase. My research dried up on me for a while when it came to finding sources but then I caught a break. The only thing I’m struggling with now is how to add more information into what I have and make my paragraphs transition into each other better.
My research actually came out pretty good. I definitely struggled a lot when finding a documentary type video for my topic, but in the end I found one that matched my topic. This class overall has been a challenge but I greatly appreciate feedback I received along the way to improve my paper each phase.
My research is going very well, aside from the hiccups I have had. My gaps are probably mainly in my organization of sources and content as it can be slightly overwhelming. I would like to know more about communicating ideas clearly and concisely. Additionally, I would like to learn more about what I've done wrong in previous papers so that I can learn and not have those problems happen again. I'm excited for this final draft of the paper!
Since the paper I am writing is on a topic that I really enjoy I often find myself being wrapped up in my research. I still have flaws in my writing and hope to eliminate most of these upon completion of the class. This portion of the paper was obviously more difficult than the last because of length and the need for more sources, so I am definitely looking forward to the final paper being done.
My research is going rather slow. I am finally able to find some of the sources I need. My gaps are in organizing my paragraphs to have them flow better. I have no issue with my wording. I would like to learn more about sentence structure and organizing a thesis to make it flow better and get my argument across.
So far my research is going pretty good. I have had a few difficulties along the way, but I have managed to over come them. I recently had to scratch a few of my sources, but I am confident I will find sources to replace them. Over all my paper is developing nicely. I am pleased and feel more confident now than I was in the beginning. I will admit a 300 point paper still intimidated me, but I feel more prepared.

Overall, with phase 3, it did help realize some tricks to do in my writing and a helped me format correctly with certain parts of my paper such as the annotated bibliography.
